Contact Lens Examination
After an eye and vision exam, Dr. Le will discuss contact lens options available and help you choose the type of lens that best suits your needs and lifestyle.
Contact Lens Exam
During the eye exam, our optometrist will determine your vision correction level before prescribing contact lenses. Based on your needs and lifestyle, Dr. Le will help you determine whether contact lens or eyeglasses are best for you. Contact lenses need to be changed daily, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on the type you choose. If you have any questions about contact lenses, please call our Gilroy optometry office at 408-842-0101.
A special type of contact lens we highly recommend is Ortho-k lenses. They are special hard lenses that you can sleep in to correct your vision overnight. They safely and gently mold your cornea so when you remove them in the morning, you can see clearly without having to wear contact lenses or eyeglasses. Learn more about ortho-k lenses.
